Recruitment Advisor

An exciting position has arisen for a Recruitment Advisor to work for a world leading University based in London. The post holder you will be working as part of the University HR and Resourcing team, to coordinate and advise on the end to end recruitment of all posts, ensuring that the process is a positive experience for both the recruiting managers and the candidates. 

Job responsibilities include:

• Providing comprehensive recruitment support to line managers, including advice, on the application of relevant University Recruitment policies and procedure

• Supporting and advising recruiting managers through the recruitment process; including providing one to one training
• Providing guidance on training in the use of job advertising; producing recruitment documentation; application handling; organising interviews and pre-employment checks
• Creating new starter records in the Human Resources Management System (iTrent)
• Dealing with enquiries from job applicants, managers, staff and the general public by e-mail, online, face to face and telephone, resolving general enquiries

• Maintaining a resource of interview questions, job descriptions and person specifications
• Drafting correspondence, including letters of appointment and letters to unsuccessful candidates
• Liaising with the interview panel chair regarding candidate feedback (where appropriate)

• Liaising with external service providers including recruitment agencies as required

What they are looking for:

• Demonstrable experience working in an end-to-end recruitment capacity
• Working towards, or currently hold a CIPD qualification
• Awareness of relevant UKVI and employment legislation
• Experience of using MS Office; Word, Excel, HR systems (preferably Midland HR iTrent)

Hybrid Pattern: 2 days onsite/ 3 days working from home
