Recruitment Officer
Duration: 12 months FTC
Location: Remote
Clearance Required: Basic DBS/BPSS
A Central Government department is seeking a Recruitment Officer to support the organisation’s recruitment needs during an extremely busy period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the organisation’s advertising agency to ensure copy for all vacancies are produced to a high standard and the relevant sign-off is received
- End-to-end recruitment process, including pre-employment checking and candidate management
- Be a first point of contact for recruiting managers, advise on current recruitment process and procedures
- Schedule interviews for candidates across departments, send calendar invites and prepare interview documents
- Coordinate the recruitment process including interview feedback, update vacancy database and track vacancies
- HR onboarding administration: legal and compliance paperwork
- Relationship building with internal Line Managers, candidates and recruitment suppliers as well as the wider HR team
Key Requirements:
- Previous Recruitment and HR experience in a fast-paced environment
- Robust experience with Systems (like ATS)
- Knowledge of recruitment and HR compliance processes
- Excellent administration skills, attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and organise a large volume of work with frequently changing priorities and work systematically towards tight deadlines
