VACANCY – Registered Manager
Location: Chesterfield with travel throughout East Midlands
Length: Temporary (Opportunity to be considered permanently)
Temporary contract: £20.48 per hour inclusive of holiday pay (£35,000 - £38,000 per annum Permanent Salary)
Hours: 35 hours per week on a rota basis
Shift patterns: Predominately 09:00am-17:00pm Monday – Friday (Flexibility required)
Venn Group is currently recruiting for a Registered Manager (Supported Living) to work within a large Housing Association. Said individual will be responsible and accountable for the operational day-to-day management and delivery of the Supported Living service, including people management, to ensure compliance with relevant legislation. You will ensure the provision of a high-quality service enabling individual needs and organisational priorities to be met in accordance with available resources.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Manage the delivery of outstanding services that meet all CQC regulatory requirements including health and Safety
- Be accountable as per the requirements of a Registered Manager for the safe and effective delivery of all services
- Manage the delivery of services to ensure compliance with CQC Standards, contractual expectations and obligations
- Monitor that all health and safety systems are implemented and followed
- Ensure that all staff are aware of the CQC Standards and understand how to achieve/exceed them
- Review working practices on a regular basis, ensuring continuous improvement and a high level of service to our residents
- Manage the implementation of processes to meet best interest procedures
- Lead a culture that supports appropriate risk taking to achieve aspirations
- Evidence and demonstrate how services are delivered in the best interest of the people we support
- Engage people where possible with the recruitment of the people that will support them
- Evidence through examples improved engagement with communities and relevant groups and associations
- Evidence of engagement with professionals and families
Essential experience/requirements:
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Full driving licence with access to a vehicle
- An enhanced DBS
