This role is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a proven track record in managing client relationships within the Retail Banking and Banking Services domain.
Job Overview
The Relationship Manager will play a key role in driving business growth by developing and managing a portfolio of retail banking clients. You will be responsible for providing personalized financial advice and maintaining strong relationships with clients to meet their financial needs, while ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of retail banking clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
- Manage a multinational portfolio of clients – fluency in both English and Arabic is a prerequisite to facilitate
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell banking products and services to clients.
- Deliver a superior customer experience by resolving client inquiries and issues efficiently.
- Conduct regular reviews of client portfolios to ensure their financial goals are being met.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver a seamless banking experience to clients.
- Monitor and manage risk within the portfolio, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Achieve and exceed sales and service targets as outlined by the bank.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and product knowledge.
- Contribute to business development initiatives by acquiring new clients and growing existing relationships.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Relationship Manager within Retail Banking or Banking Services.
- Strong understanding of retail banking products, including loans, mortgages, credit cards, and savings accounts.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to think on your feet.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, goal-oriented, and driven to meet targets and deadlines.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and risk management.
