Repairs & Voids Manager - Midlands Based Council
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £52,000 per annum
Working Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week
We are currently partnering with a Midlands-based Council undergoing a significant transformation within their Housing and Assets team. As part of this change, they are seeking an experienced Repairs & Voids Manager to lead and enhance service delivery across repairs and voids management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory standards, including the Decent Homes Standard and Social Housing Consumer Standards
• Improve turnaround times for void properties to maximise efficiency and meet service aspirations
• Lead financial management for property repairs, ensuring budgetary targets are met
• Drive continuous service improvement through redesign and innovation, focusing on the end-to-end customer journey
• Oversee operational delivery including managed stores, van stock, tools and equipment, subcontractor management, and staff training
• Ensure robust health and safety compliance across all aspects of the service
• Implement and maintain effective health and safety policies, procedures, and systems, including risk assessments
Candidate Requirements:
• Strong understanding of the social housing sector, particularly within repairs and maintenance
• Proven experience managing large teams with effective leadership and people management skills
• Demonstrated success in leading multi-disciplinary teams, including field-based staff
