Research Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Administrator to join the international research and innovation team at a London based university. This role is pivotal in supporting research administration processes, ensuring compliance, and coordinating activities for key research funding streams.

Role information:

-            Salary: £140 - £155 per day

-            Contract type: Full time, contract

-            Start date: February

-            Location: Central London – Hybrid working pattern

Job responsibilities:

-            Support research administration processes for ISPF ODA QR fund, ensuring compliance and accurate documentation

-            Coordinate research-related activities and liaise with internal and external stakeholders

-            Conduct compliance checks and maintain accurate records

-            Assist with project costings using WorkTribe and support pre-award research costing

-            Provide administrative support for post-award project management tasks as required

-            Ensure timely and efficient handling of research documentation and queries

Candidate profile:

-            Research experience in research administration within a higher education or research environment

-            Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

-            Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with diverse stakeholders

-            Experience with project costings using WorkTribe

-            Understanding of pre-award research costing and post-award project management processes

-            Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
