Job Title: Sales Ledger Controller
Job description: To support the Sales Ledger department with day to day activities including debt chasing, taking payments and allocation.
Location: Leicestershire – office based
Duration: Permanent, 8:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday
Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum
You will be:
- Taking ownership of 700 live accounts
- Completing sales ledger account set-up, allocation and housekeeping
- Identifying overdue debt
- Actively chasing debt via telephone and email
- Liaising with in-house council on legal debts
- Responsible for direct debit collections
- Raising invoices and credit notes
- Taking credit card payments over the phone
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience within finance, as well as credit control (desirable)
- Have an understanding of Excel
- Possess excellent attention to detail
