Our government client is looking for experienced Project Managers to lead customer facing initiatives, delivering technology and business architecture to meet key strategic commitments. The purpose of this role is to project manage delivery of a customer facing data services project and handover to BAU.
You will be required to:

Manage colleagues who are planning and tracking progress of the Programme

Highlight areas where insufficient information is likely to cause a problem

Identify likely problems which may hinder delivery
-
Ensure that the Programme risk register is updated on a regular basis and that the information captured is current and can be reported on efficiently

Design and create highlight & checkpoint reports for Programme and Steering Boards

Manage product management and risk management processes
-
Ensure that there is robust adherence to PPM processes including planning; risk management; dependency management and change control
Essential:
-
Experience in managing high risk, complex projects with a specific focus on product & service delivery through the full life of a project

Ability to manage projects using agile and GDS
-
Ability to work with stakeholders to manage a backlog of requirements, prioritise them and define them into Sprints

Experience of both IT and business change

Experience of delivering customer facing web solutions

Knowledge of User and Customer experience management (UX&CX)
Desirable:

PRINCE 2, MSP, GDS or similar

Knowledge of JIRA or similar

Knowledge of data services
-
Commercial acumen and experience of service agreements
