An exciting opportunity has arisen for a residential Scheme Manager within a well-established Housing Association. This is a residential position working on a temporary, part time basis.

Location: Norwich

Length: Three months temporary, ongoing with the possibility of permanent work

Hours: 30 hours per week

Main Duties

• Be responsible for the wellbeing of each resident by providing advice, support and guidance whilst maintaining high customer care standards
• Interview prospective residents and support new residents so that they become confident in their surroundings and facilitate social events.
• Promote general individual health, safety and security within the scheme
• Oversee contractors on site ensuring quality of work is maintained and carry out regular Health and Safety checks
• Provide advice and signpost residents on the availability of statutory and voluntary organisations
• Act as the point of call for emergencies and help neighbouring schemes when required
• Maintain records of expenditure, income and ensure purchase orders and administration is accurate for all schemes
• You will maintain records of scheme expenditure and income and be responsible for checking repairs

Essential requirements:

• Previous experience working with older people or in a similar environment
• Full and valid UK driving license
• Excellent communication skills and IT literate
