School Administrator and Logistics Co-Ordinator

Venn Group is currently working with a school in Berkshire who are looking to recruit an Administrator to effectively work alongside the school secretary.
Salary: £25,500
Location: Berkshire
Duration: Permanent, Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri 07:00 – 15:00, Wed 07:00 – 18:00, Saturdays 07:00 – 13:00.
Term time only (35 weeks a year)
Job Responsibilities (Admin):

Provide exceptional customer service to parents and stakeholders by welcoming guests and answering phone calls professionally and courteously

Assisting with filing, maintaining and updating information on ISAMS and physical pupil files

Administration, support, and practical arrangements for major events, i.e., Speech Day, New Boys Morning and Open Days

Assist the Director of Admissions with beginning and end of year administration and preparation
-
Support Medical Centre, Library, Kitchen, Uniform Shop and PA to the Deputy Heads with ad hoc admin tasks and with the collection of parent drop offs

Ensure daily registers are updated by teachers and compose morning email to staff with absences, boys going out and school visitors
Job responsibilities (Logistics):

Co-ordinate the school bus service to run efficiently

Prepare the daily bus board for checkout

Monitor Epipens coming into/going out of school

Liaise with Bursar on pupils occasionally using service and availability of necessities (food, drinks and 1st aid)

Ensure the rest of the front office team are kept up-to-date with bus lists and relevant information to ensure smooth running of service at times of handover and / or cover

Be responsive and effectively communicate and troubleshoot in the case of occasional emergency situations (bus problems; traffic issues)
The successful candidate will have:

Extensive experience working within an administration based role (preferably within a school)

Excellent customer service and communication skills
