Interim SEN Assistance Caseworker
Based in London, hybrid Working
Inside IR35
3 month contract (likely to extend to 6)
The SEN Assistant Caseworker will work closely with families and service providers, ensuring SEN processes are completed efficiently for SEN pupils.
Key Responsibilities of the interim SEN Assistant Caseworker :
- Contribute to the work of the Local Authority relating to the Education Health and Care Needs Assessment and Review processes for Children and Young People with SEND
- Manage statutory assessments and annual reviews in line with SEN Legislation and Code of Practice
- Liaise with schools, families and other stakeholders to ensure the child’s needs are met
Skills, experience and knowledge required of the interim SEN Assistant Caseworker:
- Excellent experience of working in Local Authority SEN settings
- Understanding of legislation, including The Children and Families Act, 2014 and SEN Code of Practice, January 2015
- DBS Required
