SEN Tribunal Officer
Working arrangement: Remote, Full time
Rate: £440 per day (umbrella, inside IR35)
Duration: 2 months
Requirements: Enhanced DBS
Key Responsibilities
• Manage a caseload of SEND tribunal appeals from start to finish
• Prepare case statements, evidence bundles and responses in line with statutory deadlines
• Work closely with legal services, SEN teams, schools, health and families to gather and present information
• Represent the Local Authority at tribunal hearings
• Provide expert advice on SEND legislation and tribunal processes
• Support the service in improving consistency, compliance and quality of tribunal work

Ideal Experience
• Strong background in SEND casework and tribunal management
• Proven track record representing a Local Authority in hearings
• Excellent knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and 2014 Children & Families Act
• Strong written communication and stakeholder management skills
• Able to work autonomously and manage complex caseloads remotely
