SEND Officer

Duration: 3 months (initial)

Start: ASAP – ideally within 1–2 weeks
Location: Remote
Rate: £280 - £300 per day (Inside IR35, via umbrella)

 

Opportunity:

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior SEND Officer to work within the reviewing team. You will manage the Annual Review process for a cohort of approximately 250 students. This role will also involve managing some complex case work.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage Annual Reviews and Phase Transfer Reviews
• Coordinate follow-up actions to ensure compliant, timely outcomes
• Handle complex casework for young people’s pathways to adulthood
• Collaborate with multi-agency teams to support positive transitions and outcomes

Ideal Profile:
• Proven experience within Local Authority SEND services
• Strong understanding of SEND legislation and EHC Plan processes
• Skilled in managing high caseloads and complex transitions
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
