We are recruiting: SEN Tribunal Officer
Location: Fully remote
Start: ASAP
Duration: 3 months initially
Hours: Full time
An experienced SEN Tribunal Officer is required to support a local authority with a high-volume caseload of SEND appeals.
Key Responsibilities:

Managing a caseload of approximately 30–40 tribunal cases

Attending and representing the local authority at SEND Tribunal hearings

Liaising effectively with legal teams and professionals across education, health and social care

Preparing high-quality written submissions, case summaries and evidence bundles

Ensuring full compliance with statutory deadlines and tribunal directions in line with the SEND Code of Practice
Key Experience Required:

Strong working knowledge of SEND legislation and the tribunal process

Proven experience managing complex EHCP appeals

Confident communicator, with experience supporting mediation and dispute resolution
-
Highly organised, resilient and able to work effectively under pressure
