Interim Caseworker Opportunity - London University
We are currently working with a top University based in London who are looking for two Senior Casework Officers to join their collaborative team.
The roles are to start as soon as possible, with one position to run until the 1st August (with a potential for extension) and the second position until the 31st December.
Key Duties:
- Responsibility for the general administration of student complaints, appeals non-academic misconduct and staff research misconduct cases
- Responding to general enquires on complaints, appeals, non-academic misconduct and research misconduct by providing University Policy and Procedural guidance to students and staff in Faculties
- Overseeing the maintenance of a comprehensive casefile of complaints and appeals, including preliminary investigations
- Liaising with students involved in case hearings with appropriated tact, sensitivity and confidentiality
- Conducting desk-based research to support the Casework Team to identify good practice, analyse trends in casework and to ensure appropriate communications on such matters across the institution
- Supporting the Casework Manager in developing new and revised Policies and processes for managing student case
- Retrieving information from systems, reports, databases and files and provide initial analysis of data for annual reports and Freedom of Information Requests
The role ideally requires someone who has experience in case handling in HE, legal or a similar case handling environment.
