Locum Senior Childcare Lawyer – Remote Working – up to £60 per hour umbrella – West Midlands
Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with an established Local Authority in the West Midlands who are recruiting for a Locum Senior Childcare Lawyer to join their legal department.
This is a full-time position however candidates with part-time availability may also be considered. The role is offered for a period of 3-6 Months with likelihood of an extension and will be worked on a on a remote basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive to become part of a forward thinking, proactive Local Authority.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within Local Government as a Childcare Lawyer and will be comfortable in a management role.
Duties may include:
- Managing a busy and varied caseload of Childcare cases to include pre-proceedings
- Advising at LPM and PLO meetings
- Advising client departments on complex issues concerning Childcare Law
- Carrying out training and supervision of the Childcare team members
An attractive rate of up to £60 per hour is offered for this position
