Senior Facilities Manager wanted for an immediate start
Location: Cornwall
Length: 6 months temporary, ongoing
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Mon – Fri)
Main responsibilities of the role
- Responsible for the day to day management of a large facilities team operating within a commercial environment
- Manage a large designated staffing team that include all facilities services provided to the organisation including cleaning and catering
- Responsible to the Head of Department, ensuring services are delivered in an efficient and cost effective manner as well as to organisational and legislative standards
- Routinely manage facilities related risks
- Attend project monitoring meetings to ensure quality and cost KPIs are being achieved in line with the agreement
- Assist in the development of policies and strategies relating to the facilities functions
- Take the lead in the recruitment of additional staff as and when deemed necessary
Essential requirements:
- Relevant commercial experience managing multi-site soft FM services
- Experience of TUPE transfers
- Managed budgets over £20m
- Must hold a full, driving licence and have access to a vehicle
- Available to start at short notice
