Job Title: Senior Family Lawyer / Head of Family Department

Job description: We are recruiting for a Senior Family lawyer to join a successful established private law firm based in County Durham. An outstanding opportunity for an experienced Family lawyer to become Head of the firms Family Department and Legal Aid supervisor.
The position is on a full time and permanent basis
This position is suited to someone with 3+ years PQE, experience with Legal Aid and is a Member of the Law Society’s Family Law or Children Law Accreditation Scheme or a Resolution Accredited Specialist
The successful candidate will be:
- Managing and overseeing a team of dedicated fee earners and support staff to overseeing a range of Family Law and Childcare Law matters
- This will be including but not limited to divorce, financial agreements, domestic violence, care proceedings, special guardianship and child arrangements orders.
Required Skills:
- Experience Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 3 years PQE
- Legal Aid and Care Proceedings experience is essential
Salary: From £50,000 per annum
