Senior Finance Analyst
Interim vacancy - Senior Finance Analyst
Location: Cambridge (3 days onsite, 2 from home)
Duration Type: 2/3 months in the first instance (2-year FTC to follow)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
You will be instrumental in developing and implementing a new financial planning model and Chart of Accounts. You’ll provide detailed financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making, policy development, and the transition to the new finance system.
You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, contribute to workshops and communications, and collaborate across multiple workstreams to ensure the successful delivery of the EFT project.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver future financial structures and system solutions.
- Develop and propose financial planning tools and Chart of Accounts.
- Provide analysis to support new financial policies and processes.
- Communicate complex financial concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Lead workshops to build understanding of income and cost attribution.
- Collaborate with Finance Analysts on statutory returns and planning.
- Supervise collaborative projects with junior finance staff.
About You
- Significant experience in financial analysis, ideally across both commercial and public sectors.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial audiences.
- Expertise in financial systems such as Oracle Financials and Tableau.
- Chartered accountant status.
