Senior Housing Officer - Home Ownership vacancy!
An exciting opportunity has arisen with an established housing association who are looking to recruit a Housing Officer that would specialise in Home Ownership to join their busy team on a temporary basis.
Location: Bedfordshire/ Hybrid
Contract: Temporary, 3 months ongoing
Hours: 37 per week
Main responsibilities of the role:
• To provide an excellent homeownership services to customers (classified as leaseholders, shared owners, and private owners
• Maximising income collection of rent, service charges and major works invoices
• Managing range of Safeguarding and Anti-Social Behaviour cases to a high standard
• Liaising with colleagues and partners both internally and externally to ensure a consistent service is provided
• Undertake visits to homeowners to carry out inspections, resolve queries and commence enforcement action where required
• Demonstrating the organisations values and listening to customers in order to improve the customer experience
• Engaging and listening to customers in order to improve the customer satisfaction and helping the organisation to become a landlord of choice
• To promote good practice in the management of leasehold and shared ownership homes
• To constructively challenge operational services and processes to deliver a work environment that enables continuous improvements
• Deal with complex/difficult home ownership issues and complaints
Essential Requirements:
• Knowledge of Lease and homeownership products and proven debt management
• An Enhanced DBS from within the last 3 years or willingness to obtain
• Hold a full UK Driving Licence and have access to vehicle
