Job Title: Senior Payroll Specialist
Job description: Venn Group are working with an established organisation to find a Senior Payroll Specialist to join the team on a permanent basis.
Duration: Permanent
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum
Location: Office based Solihull (hybrid working available)
You will be expected to:
- Complete end to end payroll processing including adding starters, leavers and changes as well as P11ds and statutory payments
- Manage, process and reconcile monthly and weekly payrolls for up to 10 group companies
- Respond to queries from employees and stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner
- Identify development requirements and provide/create training opportunities for the team
- Development, manage and enhance payroll processes and controls
- Maintain strong and effective relationships with external bodies/third party providers
- Responsible for administration of the auto enrolment process and liaising with the with the Company’s pension advisor and pension scheme administrators at all stages (including ongoing statutory compliance)
- Responsible for all aspects of pension administration and payments to relevant parties
- Preparation and posting of all accounting journals relating to pension administration
- Reconciliation and review of annual scheme changes
The ideal candidate will:
- Possess 3 years’ experience within payroll
- Have strong system skills including Sage
- Be proficient in using Excel and Word
- Have supervisory experience
