Our market-leading client are looking for a Senior Project Controller to join them on a long-term contract. This role is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager/Project Controller to develop their career.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Project Controls Manager in providing project cost control services
• Managing financial project control aspects
• Responsible for assessing and managing financial and schedule impact of changes in project scope, requirements or objectives and updating the forecasts accordingly
• Undertake cost forecasting, cost variance analysis and performance evaluation to ensure the project remains on track financially against the approved budget

Skills Required:

• Background in project management and project controls including experience in advanced application of project management techniques and the full project lifecycle
• Previous experience on complex defence projects/programmes
• Experience in SRA/CRA and EVM
• Commercial awareness and understanding of contract and commercial management

Desirable:

• APM PMQ, Chartered status or equivalent
• Military SatCom experience
• Background in finance/accountancy
