Venn Group are partnered with a bank in London seeking to augment its Treasury and Change Management functions through recruiting a Senior Project Manager to lead to implementation of a Treasury-related project. The programme is focussed on the new regulatory requirements outlined by the Bank of England under the Capital Requirements Directive V (CRD-V).
This long-term contract opportunity offers the opportunity to join a programme at the initiation stage, delivering a range of complex projects simultaneously, and ultimately see the programme through its delivery phase (projected to be 3-5 years in length).
The role holder will assume a lead position within the team, define project plans, manage teams of BAs, and report all project milestones and progress to vendors and stakeholders.
Candidates must have experience working on and delivering IRRBB and ALM projects, with a demonstrable track record of successfully delivering at pace and within deadlines. They will have to work with the Quantitative Risk Management team to track project delivery.
It is critical that the role holder joins the programme and hits the ground running, assisting with the day to day project planning, overseeing and contributing toward the migration of data between systems, and maintains a keen awareness of the wider regulatory and organisational risks associated with the project.
Individuals are expected to gather requirements, produce BRDs, conduct detailed gap analysis, and define project plans and milestones. They must prioritise and balance the objectives within the wider Finance Change Management team, accounting for simultaneous projects across the bank’s Regulatory Change function. Therefore, it is expected that the role holder will have managed multiple simultaneous projects.
