Venn Group’s specialist Legal team is thrilled to partner with a distinguished Local Authority in London, renowned for its welcoming and experienced team, to recruit a Senior Property Lawyer. This is a unique chance to lead and make a significant impact within a supportive environment.

Role Details:

• Position: Senior Property Lawyer
• Hours: Full-time (36 hours per week)
• Duration: 6-12 months, with a strong possibility of extension
• Location: Predominantly remote, with in-office attendance required once a month

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of three property professionals
• Work Allocation: Oversee and distribute property matters within the team
• Regeneration Projects: Engage in exciting and impactful regeneration work
• Case Management: Handle a diverse caseload including commercial leases, assignments, and easements
• Advisory and Drafting: Provide expert advice and draft legal documents related to commercial property within the local authority context

Essential Qualifications:

• Qualified as a Solicitor, Barrister, or CILEx professional
• Extensive experience in local government
• Proven expertise in Property law and team management
