A position has arisen for a Senior Workforce Info Analyst within a highly regarded NHS Trust organisation situated within the north of the home counties. The position is full time and permanent with hybrid working (two days on-site per week).
Senior Workforce Info Analyst (Reference: J79930)
Salary: £42,600 per annum
Hours: 37.5 per week
Your duties will include:
- Working with the Head of Workforce Planning and Information to implement and roll out Electronic Staff Record Self-Service and be responsible for its maintenance going forward, working in collaboration with the Resourcing team to ensure the link between ESR and TRAC is used correctly and effectively
- Enabling HR and Workforce related technology within the organisation to minimise the use of paper, increase efficiencies in our processes and free up clinical time
- Providing day-to-day line management and professional support to the Workforce Information Analyst
- Being the expert user of ESR for the organisation and one of the ‘go-to’ people for technical ESR queries or errors on the system
- Retrieving data from ESRs ‘Disco Ad-Hoc’ reporting system including writing of bespoke reports and any other workforce related reports as and when required
- Having overall responsibility for the expenses system and be able to run reports and resolve issues relating to expenses
- Continuously supporting and implementing the use of innovative workforce related technology within the organisation, including the use of mobile phone apps, employee self-service and electronic HR forms
- Providing day-to-day management and leadership to the Workforce Information Analyst, ensuring they are supported, valued, developed in line with organisation policies and procedures, including appraisals, workload supervision and conducting 1:1s etc.
- Being a point of contact for data and advice to the Senior HR Advisors and HR Business Partners to support them in their work
The successful candidate should have:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification or experience in a related field (eg: analytics, computing, statistics)
- Professional IMT qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience of collating and analysing statistical information and producing reports for non-statistical professionals to aid strategic planning and performance measurement, highlighting trends, problems and suggesting solutions
- Experience of working with ESR workforce database
- Experience of the application of data extraction, analytics and presentation of findings
- Ability to explain complex information and make recommendations based on information
