We are currently recruiting a number of Service Controllers on behalf of a Heavy Machinery client in the Altrincham area. This role would ideally suit those from an Office Admnistration or Customer Service background. The contract is temp-perm, with the initial three months being on a temporary basis, with the role going permanent at the end of this period. It is a 40 hour working week with shifts falling between a window of 07:30 and 17:30. There is ample opportunity for overtime, which is paid at time and a half.
Day-to-day duties:
- Taking in-bound calls from customers
- Monitoring emails
- Monitoring company call log
- Organising work schedules for engineers throughout the UK
- Keeping communication lines open with the clients, updating them with ETAs and breakdown status
- Appointing third parties where necessary to cover breakdowns & raise order numbers upon completion
- Organising and booking routine services
- Reconciling invoices from third party suppliers
