Service Desk Analyst opportunity

Venn Group is working with a prestigious University in London who are looking to expand their Service Desk team by taking on new staff who are looking to either start or continue their IT Careers.
Day rate: Competitive
Location: London
Length: 9 months (contract to permanent role after training and experience gained)

Job responsibilities include:
- Handle calls, emails, chat and service management tool raised incidents, service requests and queries
- Provide face to face support to staff to help resolve incidents, fulfil service requests and address queries
- Provide desk side support to staff to help resolve incidents, fulfil service requests and address queries
- Log queries, incidents and service requests on the service management system and acting, where required
- Escalate any operational problems to more senior colleagues
The successful candidate will have:
- IT graduate or previous help desk/ Customer Service experience
- Some or strong service desk experience
- Previous experience dealing with customers and their queries
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills both verbally and written
