Role: Service Desk Analyst
Type: Temporary
Duration: 3 months initially
Start date: ASAP
Pay rate: £11.31/hr PAYE incl. Holiday OR £13.01/hr via an Umbrella company
Location: Birmingham
Duties:
- Provide 1st Line IT Support to non-technical staff at all levels as part of a Service Desk team
- Undertake tasks assigned to the IT service desk
- Ensure users are kept up to date with issues raised
- Follow standard IT department procedures
- Diagnose and fix IT issues where possible, escalating when necessary and monitoring these until resolved
Requirements:
- Installation of approved software
- Troubleshoot hardware; laptops, PCs, standalone printers
- Resolves issues with network printers
- Ensure IT issues are resolved within applicable IT SLA tolerances
- User account management with Active Directory; creating accounts, adjusting permissions, resetting passwords
- Awareness of Cyber Security
- Experience with ticketing systems (Iavnti, LANDesk, etc.)
- The successful candidate will need to process an Enhanced DBS for clearance
