SMCR Specialist – Documentation & Governance Analyst
Venn Group are partnered with a Financial Services firm in the City of London seeking to improve on and maintain existing SMCR documentation and as such are recruiting for a Documentation & Governance Analyst to ensure that regulatory obligations are adhered to and that the bank continues to meet the regulatory bodies’ standards.
We are looking to speak with individuals with an exposure to the SMCR regulation who can prepare reports and documentation for Senior Management Functions (SMFs), make improvements to the existing responsibilities maps, and provide guidance to internal staff on the implications of regulatory trends and obligations inherent in each position.
This firm is aiming to recruit this contractor on a long-term, rolling basis in order to maintain their current and future book of work.
A background working in Compliance, Governance, Company Secretariat, and/or Regulatory environments within a Financial Services environment would be highly advantageous in this role, as it would allow the role-holder to efficiently identify and escalate issues, whilst communicating key information pertaining to regulatory documentation accurately.
Excellent communication skills are a prerequisite for this position as individuals will be required to prepare briefing notes and presentations for senior management/board/committee meetings.
