Social Media Manager
Duration: 2/3 months (with possibility of extension)
Location: Remote/London
Clearance Required: Basic DBS
A Central Government organisation is looking for a Social Media Manager to develop and implement content plans for their social media channels on Twitter, Facebook, Linked-In and Instagram.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and post compelling engaging copy, content and posts that brings sometimes complex stories to life for sector audiences
- Commission visual content from and external design agency
- Create content that reacts to the news agenda
- Day-to-day management of their channels - highlight and respond to any comments or issues appropriately
- Provide support, advice and cover for their Social Media Exec responsible for campaign channels - helping to generate ideas, check content and manage channels when they are away
Key Requirements:
- Experienced social media copywriter
- Ability to manage busy workloads and conflicting priorities to meet demanding deadlines
