Solutions Architect

Interim Solutions Architect – Immediately Required

We are working with a Local Authority in London to recruit an experienced Interim Solutions Architect to work with the Enterprise Architect to simplify their portfolio of applications and be the focal point for new requests for applications across the council’s IT estate.

Position:                              Interim Solutions Architect  

Period:                                6 months

Hours:                                 Full time

IR35 Status:                        Outside 

Responsibilities and Experience:

• Look at the application roadmap and configure the ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ where necessary
• Business modelling and business capability reviews
• Gathering requirements and articulating gaps along with high level and low-level design work
• Advising business areas on new requirements for applications and recommending although procured applications as an alternative
• Help with procurement documentation and tender evaluation when they go out to procure new applications
• Extensive experience working within Local Authorities and an understanding of applications used within them
