Support Worker

Multiple Support Worker Vacancies waiting to be filled

Venn Group have been approached by a Support Organisation and would like to introduce the following positions available

Position:          Support Worker (days)

Location:         Northwich  

Rate:               £11.68 - £12.00 p/hour (PAYE inc holiday pay)                      

Length:            4 weeks – 8 weeks  

Hours:             35 hours p/week (rolling rota of early, mids, late shifts)

The role will predominantly involve:

• Engaging with customers who present themselves at imminent risk of or rough sleeping / homelessness
• Completing assessments with each individual customer and developing a personal housing plan in conjunction with a colleague from the Housing Options service
• Completing light domestic duties, including some cleaning, washing, and tidying to ensure all areas remain safe and hazard free
• Working within the safeguarding protocols, working proactively by supporting and responding to issues relating to safeguarding vulnerable adults

The successful candidate does not necessarily need to have worked in the role previously but have an interest in supporting vulnerable people, you will need to be available to start within short notice
