Support Workers Immediately Required X10

Location: Nottingham
Hours: 37 hours per week - Usually between 08:00am and 09:00pm (Double time paid for Christmas and New Year shifts)
Pay Rate: Starting salary, £17,495 Increasing to £19,568 after successful probation and a further years’ service
An opening has arisen for a Support Workers across the East Midlands to work for a reputable Housing Association within 3 of their services, to which include Homelessness and Mental Health.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Work with tenants and care teams to develop and maintain support networks
- Provide prompts and respect choices, privacy and confidentiality in one to one sessions
- Support tenants/service users to make choices and decisions about their lives
- Produce, review and update support plans with tenants
- Maintain a safe and healthy physical environment for tenants/service users and colleagues
- Where appropriate, support the tenant to move on to independent living
- Personal care may be required throughout the services
- Must be flexible with work load and open to learning new skill sets in differing environments with a “Can do” attitude
- Be resilient in supporting vulnerable individuals whilst also dealing with challenging behaviours

The successful candidate will have:
- An enhanced DBS
- Full driving licence with access to a vehicle
- Previous experience working in this position
