A reputable Homelessness Charity is currently looking to recruit a Supported Housing Deputy Manager to join their friendly team in the Buckinghamshire area.

Location: High Wycombe, Bucks

Duration: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £37- 41k per annum

Role responsibilities:

• Support the Manager to deliver a safe, effective and high-quality service for residents
• Line management of 7-8 staff including Supported Housing Officers and Complex Needs Workers
• Ensuring key performance standards and conducting regular and high-quality staff supervision sessions
• To ensure occupancy levels and rent realisation remain above target at the services and are effectively managed
• To work with the Supported Housing Manager to review and develop the relevant services to be the best they can be, in line with project/service aims
• Supporting staff to set clear expectations on rent payments for residents, setting appropriate rent payment plans & following up as needed
• Ensure both Housing and Corporate policies and procedures are understood and adhered to by staff and volunteers
• Promote staff adherence to Safeguarding and Health & Safety procedures and feeding back knowledge/training gaps to senior managers
• To support the Supported Housing Manager in preparation of documents for inspections and audits

Additional requirements:

• Must hold a full UK driving license and have access to your own car for work purposes
• Knowledge and experience of working with vulnerable people and or those with complex needs
• Knowledge and experience of line managing front line staff teams in a homelessness/housing/health or social care setting
• An Enhanced Disclosure is required for this position
