Supported Housing Officer Required
Contract type: 6 weeks +
Hours per week: 35
Location: South Gloucester
Venn Group are looking for an Supported Housing Officer to work for a Housing Association in South Gloucester
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Establish and maintain trusting relationships with service users, maintaining regular contact and facilitating a co-produced planned program of support
- Assist with identifying and accessing appropriate move on accommodation
- Monitor and manage rent accounts, ensuring arrears are addressed in line with organisational procedure
- Participate in undertaking health and safety checks and inspections
- Providing Tenancy support
- Work in partnership with external agencies to facilitate the effective delivery of support
- Deliver welfare benefits and budgeting advice to ensure service user income is maximised and financial resilience and capacity increased
The successful candidate will have:
- Enhanced DBS
- Driving Licence
- Experience working with complex needs
- Experience and understanding of the causes of homelessness and social exclusion for vulnerable parents
- Happy to do lone working on occasions
