An exciting opportunity has arisen within a well-established Charity for a Team Leader to manage their Mental Health Services in Waltham Forest.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with leadership experience who is willing to lead a team and make a difference.

Type: Permanent

Hours: 40 per week

Shifts: 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional late or weekend cover

Salary: £28,668 per annum

Location: Waltham Forest

Main responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for making day to day decisions on operational and member matters, ensuring the effective running of the service
• Line managing Support Workers and ensuring operational standards are maintained
• Be responsible for all aspects of staff management including rota’s, team meetings, sickness/absence, recruitment, and training
• Undertaking initial assessment of needs, potential risks and agreeing levels of support
• Develop and maintain links with local key agencies and service providers
• Lead on processing new referrals to the service
• Undertake all housing tasks such as monitoring rent arrears, housing benefit applications and repairs

Essential Requirements:

• Experience of line managing a team in a similar environment
• Demonstrate a good knowledge of processes involved in running a service
• An Enhanced DBS with the Adults list checked or willingness to obtain a new one
