Team Leader Pensions and Compliance Immediately Required
A position has arisen for a Team Leader Pensions and Compliancewithin a Local Authority in Bath. This would be a long term contract until March 2023.
Hourly Rate: £20.52 via Umbrella
Contract Length: March 2023

Your duties will include:
- Support the Payroll Manager in planning the workload and performance of the Team
- To assist with the delivery of change programmes and identify opportunities for service improvement
- With the Payroll Services Manager ensure the effective and efficient implementation of Council policies and the achievement of the Council’s corporate and financial objectives
- To ensure that policies and services are responsive to community needs and that equal opportunity issues are identified and addressed effectively
- To contribute to co-operative working across services and directorates in accordance with the council’s vision and values. To lead and co-ordinate cross service initiatives as and when required
- To ensure effective external working relationships are established and maintained with organisations and agencies relevant to the service
- To ensure effective and accessible communication with employees, service users, the genera; public and others as appropriate
- Develop and keep under review pension policy and legislation on behalf of the Council, ensuring that decisions taken are in accordance with the Council’s constitution and delegated authority process
Essential:
- CIPP qualified
- Good knowledge of pensions and the ever changing legislation
