Tenant Participation Officer

Hourly rate: £22.56 via Umbrella

Location: Bristol (hybrid)

Responsibilities include:

• Promote and facilitate resident engagement/tenant participation with Homes and Landlord Services
• Support with resident meetings and engagement activities
• Research, prepare and present reports and briefing notes/ presentations for members, management team, service managers/ staff and service user
• Organise and attend consultation meetings/ seminars/ working groups with key stakeholders as appropriate
• Provide support to and to represent the allocated manager and ensure continuation of the project in accordance with the agreed project plan
• Develop and provide training and guidance to tenants and staff in conjunction with tenant involvement policy, project and procedure development
• Resolve complex issues relating to the service and respond in a professional manner to customer driven issues
• May be required to work occasional evenings and weekends

Essential Skills:

• An understanding of current housing issues and their impact on housing provision including legal requirements concerning Tenant Involvement and Empowerment in housing services
• Enhanced DBS
• Driving licence and access to own car
• Must be Bristol based
