Venn Group have been contacted to recruit to a very exciting Treasury Accountant post working for an NHS organisation in Surrey. The client is looking to bring in an interim member or staff to support on the below duties:
Treasury Accountant
- Working as part of the Financial Accounts team to the provide treasury management services in accordance with the treasury management policies
- Maintain cash books and subsidiary records to ensure that they are up to date and reconciled to the bank statements
- Assist with the annual planning process in terms of cash, debtor and creditor profiling
- Updating daily and monthly cash flow forecasts
- Responsible for the monthly reconciliation of all control accounts within the remit of the treasury function, including bank accounts and sub-ledger control accounts
- Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
- Responsible for the day to day supervision of the Cashiering function, assisting with recruitment, appraisals and training as required
This would be an ideal role for a candidate who is looking to develop their career within the NHS finance sphere. The successful candidates MUST have NHS experience. The role is paying approx. £17-20 per hour (depending on experience) and is temporary for 6 months +
