Wintel Engineer

Inside IR35, DOE
Our client require a Wintel Engineer to join them on a long-term contract.
Responsibilities:
- Support the technical team installing, configuring, and updating Windows servers including in a virtualised environment
- Installation and configuration of Mictorsoft enterprise produces including Active Directory, SQL, Exchange, WSUS and MS Office elements
- Production and review of all levels of design artefacts
- Support testing activities
- Working with Service Management to resolve issues
Skills Required:
- 4+ years of experience in the design, configuration and administration of Active Directory in a secure environment
- Significant experience in the installation, configuration, maintenance, administration and support of Windows serve operating systems (ideally Windows Server 2012R2 and 2016)
- Experience in administering and monitoring a virtual server infrastructure
- Experience configuring administering backup and restore of Windows systems, patching, and configuring peripheral devices
- Experience conducting product selections against complex requirements
Desirable:
- Experience of configuration of networks with knowledge of Cisco routers and switches
- Experience Cisco Network Administration experience of certification (CCNA or CCNP)
