Workforce Data Analyst

Venn Group is currently working with an NHS Trust based in Greater London to recruit a Workforce Data Analyst to be responsible for providing highly complex, highly sensitive workforce information.
Rate: £19.95 (PAYE) to £22.70 (Umbrella) per hour
Hours: 22.5 hours, 3 days per week
Days in office: 3 days on site to start, then hybrid working available
Duration: 12 months initially, possibility for a permanent position
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as the organisational expert in the use of ESR and ESR workforce planning tools (e.g. ESR Business Intelligence)
- To be solely responsible for designing, writing and developing specialised ad hoc technical reports from the ESR
- To maintain accurate and efficient running of ESR and SBS E-Pay relating to personal and assignment data, Self Service access, and ESR hierarchy
- To undertake key workforce projects (e.g. the decommissioning of ESR Discoverer Reporting and the subsequent implementation of Business Intelligence Reporting (BI)
- Responsible for providing high quality data to the Board Leads i.e. Key Performance Indicator (KPI’s) such as sickness, turnover, vacancies, staff in post, equality and diversity and identifying, tracking and analysing trends that emerge from workforce data
- Validation and quality checking of ESR data, critically analysing data and flagging data irregularities and inconsistencies to service managers
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous NHS/Healthcare experience
- Proficient in the use of the Microsoft suite of products, ESR, Business Intelligence
- Expert knowledge of ESR report writing, including the production of proposals for senior management and analysis of information
