Last week as part of our learning programme Catherine Kane a long-standing Venn Group client and highly regarded commissioning expert, took part in a Q&A with Rula Tripolitaki our Head of Public Sector Business Development alongside our local government recruitment leads nationwide.

The discussion centred on children’s services which is where 43% of our local government placements are made. To retain our position as market leader we need to be up to date, invested and engaged with the requirements and intricacies of this complex delivery. We know the people we represent can change outcomes and lives, and this event reinforced the importance of understanding the impact our work has on the individuals and communities our candidates and clients ultimately serve.

As expected, Catherine was insightful, engaging and passionate, with attendees enjoying hearing her real-life examples and educated view of the challenges and priorities that services are facing.
