Situation

Having recently left her previous job, our candidate uploaded her CV to several job boards in search of work. We recognised that her extensive customer-facing experience, most recently in a busy surgery, was an excellent fit for a Receptionist role at a youth charity who had exclusively partnered with us for this vacancy.

We spoke to her prior to interview in order to identify effective examples she could provide to highlight her experience, and reassured her in the face of pre-interview nerves. Solution

Our candidate was offered the role and started in post within 10 days of us first approaching. Initially a 1-month contract, the client extended the role by 2 months and was so impressed by her performance that they offered a promotion to the permanent role of Senior Receptionist.
