24-hour turnaround in securing a new job following redundancy.

Following a sudden redundancy, our candidate drew on his previously-established relationship with Venn Group and contacted us as the first port of call in his job search. We were recruiting for an interim Health & Safety Advisor role with an NHS Trust who had partnered with us exclusively for this vacancy, and recognised that it was an ideal match for his skillset and sector experience.

The interviews for the H&S Advisor vacancy were taking place the same day we were contacted by the candidate, and the client brought them forward to interview based on our recommendation. The candidate had raised a reservation beforehand that the role may not offer the diversity and independence of work that he desired, but we reassured him that he would be given autonomy in developing the new Health & Safety plan. Following positive interview feedback, we worked with him to promptly update and submit his CV to ensure no delay in the recruitment process.

Our candidate was offered the job within 24 hours of contacting us, and we regularly followed up post-placement with both parties to ensure that he was embedding well. The client was so pleased with his performance that they offered him the role permanently with a salary increase, and worked with him to create a new job specification. With our help, our candidate was able to secure work immediately after redundancy, in a role which has been tailored to their skillset and experience.

“Excellent service. Tom Wilkinson has found me two very good roles. When I left my last role he secured me new employment within 24 hours of a phone call letting him know I was looking for a new employment. Venn Group has also sorted any issues out quickly and professionally with minimum fuss and always kept me informed.”
