Case Study | Interim Recruitment - Warwick District Council

In response to amendments in the Building Safety Act, Warwick District Council mandated the appointment of two interim roles: a Building Safety Lead and Fire Safety Lead to ensure their high-rise housing stock complied with legislation. The importance of these roles necessitated top-tier talent.

Priorities supported:

  • Partner with a local government recruitment specialist with a track record in supplying subject matter experts

  • Retain interims with a wealth of relevant, up-to-date and tested expertise to fulfil these critical community-safety roles

  • Secure the right candidates within the shortest timeframe

Experience applied:

  • On requisition we conducted a comprehensive meeting with the client to ensure our complete understanding of these roles and their confidence in our ability to supply

  • Understanding the scarcity of this skill set, we approached our network via direct contact and on LinkedIn

  • Performing a thorough first-round interview ensured the required expertise among our candidates whom we subsequently shortlisted based on availability

  • Presenting four applicants for review three were requested for interview

Outcomes achieved:

  • With confidence, we assumed responsibility for the success of this campaign and promptly presented suitable candidates on our initial attempt.

  • Successfully placed both requirements with the interims in situ within a month from instruction
