Permanent Accounts Assistant Position Available – Based in Halifax
We are currently working with a large firm based in Halifax in the search for an accounts assistant.
Standard working hours are 8:30am – 5pm Monday to Friday, based full time in the office.
Duties for this role include but are not limited to:
Credit control
Coding and posting purchase invoices
Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes
Dealing with any queries internally and from banks and suppliers
Reconciling supplier statements
Dealing with telephone and email supplier queries
Matching, batching and coding purchase invoices
Cash allocation and query resolution for accounts receivable
Supplier payments on a weekly basis
VAT
For this role you must have previous accounts assistant experience and be happy to work fully in the office
