Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
Job description: We are recruiting for a permanent Accounts Payable Clerk to join a global organisation based in the Solihull area. This role offers remote working for experienced candidates who are looking to join a reputable business and a dynamic team.
You will be:

Establishing external relationships with both existing and new suppliers
-
Responsible for the daily processing of invoices received from suppliers ensuring that appropriate authorisation for payment is received
-
Ensuring that suppliers are paid within the time-scale agreed
-
Maintaining the computerised purchase ledger system in an accurate and timely manner
-
Responsible for reconciling the company’s purchase ledger with supplier statements monthly
-
Resolving satisfactorily and speedily any queries raised by suppliers
-
Ensuring the filing of all invoices is in a ready retrievable manner

The ideal candidate will:

Have extensive (at least two years) experience working in an Accounts Payable position or a Purchase Ledger Clerk position

Must be able to deal with high volumes of invoices
