Venn Group is currently working with a large NHS company who are looking for an Administrator to Clinical Engineering. Below is a brief synopsis on the role;
Duration: Start date – ASAP – 3 Months Initially
Location: Onsite – Central Reading
Rate: Dependent on experience
Hours: 37.5 – Monday to Friday – 9am – 5pm
Day to day duties include:
- provide administrative support across a range of tasks as required to ensure efficient operation of the Clinical Engineering Department
- data entry, verification and cleansing of data entered onto the Clinical Engineering Medical Devices database
- assist with the documentation and production of Standard Operating Procedures as part of the Department’s Quality Management System
- assist with the production, collation and updating of documents and reports
- Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Clinical Engineering Department and the Trust
- Any other duties as may be required commensurate with the post
- Demonstrate the Trust’s CARE values through personal behaviour and approach to everyday tasks and situations.
Essential Skills for the role:
- Proven planning & organisational skills
- Excellent time management & ability to prioritise workload
- Good, confident communicator
- Ability to cope under pressure and deliver to tight timescales
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience of successfully managing external and internal stakeholders
- Knowledge and experience of NHS accounting systems including iProc
- Knowledge of raising and managing purchase orders
- IT literacy and good level of Excel and Word
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and forward thinking
- Flexible approach to working
- Have a proactive attitude to problem solving with the ability to understand when senior support is needed.
