Venn Group is currently recruiting for an Assistant Medical Resourcing Lead for a Public Sector Organisation based in Wolverhampton. This is a temporary contract for 4-6 months initially, offering an hourly rate of £12.61 PAYE including Holiday Pay or £14.41 via Umbrella.
The successful candidate will be required onsite for the first month and thereafter will be able to work home x2 days a week for the remainder of the contract.
Duties will include:
- To provide support to the relevant Clinical Director / Lead Consultant / Group Manager / Directorate Manager in providing effective medical cover
- To effectively plan, create and maintain medical rotas, using Allocate and Excel software ensuring compliance with the latest contracts, guidelines and departmental operational requirements.
- Ensuring where possible rotas are completed and published six weeks in advance
- To provide information relating to rotas in a timely manner as directed, highlighting to the relevant directorates any non-compliance with rotas by senior and junior staff
- To deal positively and promptly with internal and external enquiries, both telephone and face to-face, liaising with staff as appropriate and taking independent action as applicable
- To co-ordinate rotas on a daily basis in liaison with the Lead Consultant(s)
- Taking responsibility for ensuring all key shifts are covered
- To ensure appropriate cover, in relation to non-consultant career grade medical staff, in the event of short-notice absence (e.g. sickness)
