Venn Group is currently recruiting for a Business Manager for an NHS organisation based in Hereford. This role will be on site 4 days a week working 30 hours.
This is a temporary position for 4 months paying a Band 6 rate of £19.95/hr inclusive of holiday pay PAYE or £22.95/hr via Umbrella.
Duties will include:
- To support the Occupational Health Lead Nurse to produce a strategic development plan to maintain and develop the service
- To ensure that the service provided and the processes developed to external contracts is in line with SLA’s
- To provide complex administrative support to the Occupational Lead Nurse for commissioning, negotiating, pricing, maintaining and monitoring all contracts for Occupational Health
- To plan and develop marketing and information about Occupational Health Services
- To be responsible for the development of all administrative systems and processes to provide an effective occupational health service
- To be responsible for supporting the administration team with operational management of the occupational health administrative workload
- To work with senior managers to facilitate changes in the delivery of Occupational Health Services to meet changes in business and operational needs
- Day to day planning of resources and working practices to fulfil current and future business requirements
- To manage Pay and Non-Pay budgets for the Occupational Health service, including timely invoicing of external clients
- To be responsible for the development of SOP, policies and procedures for the department in line with national guidance and local requirements. Ensure all standards, policies and procedures are implemented and maintained
- Work with Lead Nurse to identify capacity and demand risk areas and discuss resolution
- In conjunction with the Lead Nurse the post holder will monitor activity and targets, providing weekly/monthly/quarterly updates/reports and monitor agreed actions to ensure delivery
- To provide activity reports to various committees and external clients in a timely manner
- Manage performance and behavioural issues accordingly when escalated, ensuring there is effective monitoring and full documentation available
